Alessandra De Rossi and Empoy Marquez's rom-com is hitting cinemas this July
We're so excited!
(SPOT.ph) Who doesn't love a charming rom-com—especially one that features an intriguing storyline? It turns out that people loved this new indie offering so much that its Philippine premiere screening on May 12 was sold out!
Don't worry, because Kita Kita is finally getting a commercial release on July 19, but a confirmed list of cinemas has yet to be announced. The story revolves around the unlikely love story between Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez's characters. (We won't spoil the twist if you haven't seen the trailer yet!)
Kita Kita was one of three Filipino movies that competed at this year's Osaka Film Festival in March. It's directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who was also behind other indie films such as 2016's Lorna and 2014's Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita.
