WATCH: MMK unveils trailer of Liza Soberano as Pia Wurtzbach

(SPOT.ph) In early 2016, Pia Wurtzbach was quoted saying that Liza Soberano had potential to be Miss Universe; several months later, she echoed her statements and added, "She really has the beauty for it."

Over a year later, Soberano is stepping into the pageant world—as a young Wurtzbach in Maalaala Mo Kaya. Over the weekend, the ABS-CBN show released a teaser trailer for the episode, showing Soberano donning gowns and practicing her walk with a crown as she trains for pageants.

Zsa Zsa Padilla is also part of the episode as Wurtzbach's mom, and shared photos of Wurtzbach's set visit. The episode will air on June 3.
