Celebrate Independence Day With Free Indie Movie Screenings

Get the most bang for your buck this long weekend.

(SPOT.ph) If all the long weekend festivities and last-minute trips have drained your monthly budget, that's no reason to skip seeing a good movie.

Head to Cinema '76 Film Society on Monday, June 12, to catch free screenings of two of the most recognizable Pinoy historical epics: Heneral Luna at 12 p.m. and Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo at 2 p.m.

The micro-cinema will also be hosting back-to-back benefit screenings of the advocacy film Ang Araw Sa Likod Mo at 6 p.m. onwards. Members of the cast will be at the venue, and all proceeds will go to HERO Foundation, Inc.

Cinema ’76 Film Society is at 160 Luna Mencias Street, Brgy. Addition Hills, San Juan City. For more information, log on to Cinema '76 Film Society's official Facebook page.
