Here's How You Can Have Private Screenings of Cinemalaya 2017 Entries

Bring four of your friends, too!

( If you're an avid Cinemalaya-goer, then you know the struggle of patiently falling in line to watch all the entries of the year. Of course, the wait is always worth it but then again, it's always nice (and super-convenient) to skip the long waiting time.

Thanks to a partnership with Samsung, Cinemalaya will be hosting Samsung Screening Lounges in several private rooms of the CCP's fourth floor. You can choose to watch any of the competing films, and the private screening even comes with free popcorn.

Shell out P1,500 per screening for a maximum of five people. You can even bring your own drinks and food, so you can sit back and relax sans the crazy crowd that the festival often draws.

Cinemalaya also offers other packages that will fit your budget including: One Day Pass, pay P500 for four screenings of the day or P700 for five screenings of the day; All-Access Festival Pass, pay P3,500 for admission to all festival screenings in the CCP only; and Films-in-Competition Pass, pay P1,500 for admission to In-Competition films in the CCP only.

Cinemalaya runs from August 4 to 13, with screenings at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Greenbelt 3, Glorietta 4, Trinoma, and UP Town CenterRegular ticket prices are at P150 per screening and P100 for students. For more information, log on to Cinemalaya's official website or call the CCP Box Office at 832-3704 and 832-1125 local 1409.
