(SPOT.ph) Kita Kita has been in theaters for well over two weeks now and yet the little film has shown no signs of slowing down. And if you still haven't gotten over Lea and Tonyo's relatable love story, the movie's Facebook page shared never-before-seen footage yesterday, August 6.
The 50-second clip features the effortless banter between Alessandra De Rossi and Empoy Marquez's characters while sitting on a bench in Hokkaido, Japan. Fun fact: Kita Kita was originally premiered in the 2016 Tokyo International Film Festival.
The indie film exceeded all expectations, earning about P240 million in just two weeks. Its success has even led to talks for both actors to star in a new film, reportedly set in Iceland.
According to the Facebook page, they'll be sharing more unreleased footage in the coming weeks. As of writing, Kita Kita is still showing in 200 cinemas nationwide.
