Attention, Indie Movie Fans: You Can Now Stream Die Beautiful Online

(SPOT.ph) It's safe to say that one of the most memorable Metro Manila Film Festival entries ever is Jun Robles Lana's Die Beautiful. The comedy-drama made waves (and tugged heartstrings) at the festival's 2016 iteration, even skyrocketing the careers of both Paolo Ballesteros and then-newcomer Christian Bables.

In an earlier tweet, Lana said that he had no plans to release a DVD to prevent piracy. Don't worry; you can still rewatch it all over again because it's now available for streaming on HOOQ Philippines.

The film follows the colorful life of a transgender woman named Trisha (Ballesteros), from her tumultuous youth to her tragic end. It also stars Joel Torre, Gladys Reyes, Luis Alandy, Lou Veloso, and Inah de Belen.

When you're done crying from all the feels, you can mark your calendars for its TV show sequel, Born Beautiful, which centers on Barbs (Bables) as she tries to move on from her best friend's death. It is set to air on Cignal Entertainment, but a schedule has yet to be announced as of writing.
