The New Stranger Things Poster Is Here and It's Going to Get You More Excited for Season 2

What's he looking at?

( It’s been a while since we last got some juicy details about the second season of Stranger Things. Last time we saw Will (Noah Schnapp) in Season 1 was when he excused himself from Christmas dinner with his mom and brother, and then proceeded to cough up a slug-like creature while having flashbacks of the Upside Down. Eleven’s (Millie Bobby Brown) fate was also hinted at when Jim (David Harbour) left a carton of Eggos in the forest.

Fast-forward to a few months after the finale, and we got a few more clues about what the new season has in store: Will has more visions of the Upside Down when he goes to the arcade with his friends. Now, we get another sneak peek: Netflix just released a brand-new poster showing Will standing in a doorway and looking into the Upside Down. Will he step through?

Aside from catching up with your favorite people from the first season, expect to meet with some new characters: Roman (Linnea Berthelsen) is a young woman with a troubled past who is connected to the events that unfolded at the lab, despite the fact that she doesn't even live in Hawkins. Bob Newby (Sean Astin) is Joyce’s (Winona Ryder) new boyfriend who manages the local RadioShack. Paul Reiser plays Dr. Owens, who looks like he just might be the new baddie in town, while comedian Brett Gelman plays Murray Bauman, a conspiracy theorist-slash-journalist following cold leads in Hawkins. There's also Max (Sadie Sink), a new student at Will's school.

The first episode, entitled “Madmax,” will premiere on October 27.
