WATCH: Smaller and Smaller Circles Finally Unveils Its First Trailer

Here's your first look at the highly anticipated movie!

(SPOT.ph) After what's felt like eons, the first trailer for the highly anticipated Smaller and Smaller Circles movie has finally dropped online.

Based on the critically acclaimed crime novel by F.H. Batacan, the film follows two Jesuit priests, Father Gus and Father Jerome, who are tasked to track down a serial killer leaving the mutilated bodies of street boys in Payatas.

Directed by Raya Martin and written by Moira Lang and Ria Limjap, the movie was earlier rumored to be joining the Metro Manila Film Festival, which Limjap has denied in an interview with SPOT.ph. The impressive ensemble cast includes Nonie Buencamino, Sid Lucero, TJ Trinidad, Carla Humphries, and Bembol Roco.

An initial trailer has already been playing in select cinemas across the Metro; the online trailer, however, is different. Smaller and Smaller Circles is slated to premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in Korea this October. Locally, it will hit theaters on December 6.
