WATCH: Dylan Sprouse Returns to Acting as a Psychopath Student in This New Film
Move over, Jughead!
(SPOT.ph) While Cole Sprouse is turning heads as Jughead Jones in Riverdale, his twin brother Dylan is starring in a new movie called Dismissed in which he plays a brilliant yet terrifying A+ student.
Dylan’s character is named Lucas Ward, a transfer student who catches the attention of his teachers. Lucas is smart, opinionated, and assertive. He dreams of going to Harvard and to make this happen, he needs to score a perfect grade in his subjects.
"There's no use in doing anything unless you're the very best at it," he tells his English teacher Mr. Butler (Kent Osborne) during a game of chess. Things turn sour when Mr. Butler gives him a B+ for a report. Dylan starts to act weird and Mr. Butler starts to fear for his life.
Dismissed premiered at the San Diego Film Festival this October and it will be released on digital platforms and on-demand video on November 21.
Dylan and Cole both graduated with honors from New York University. In 2016, Dylan expressed his hesitation to re-enter show business but looks like he’s ready to give it another shot.
