Three Newly Restored Filipino Classics Are Premiering in Cinemas This Month

...including a gem from Danny Zialcita!

 

(SPOT.ph) Cinema One Originals is just around the corner, and it's already shaping up to be one of the most exciting events of the year. Movie fans have plenty of original indie and foreign films to discover, but they will also get the chance to relive classic Filipino cinema with the help of ABS-CBN Film Archives.

 

This year, the festival will be unveiling three newly restored Filipino gems, namely:

 

Langis at Tubig (1980)

Directed by: Danny Zialcita

Written by: Danny Zialcita and Baby Nebrida

Stars: Amy Austria, Dindo Fernando, and Vilma Santos

Moral (1982)

Directed by: Marilou Diaz-Abaya

Written by: Ricky Lee
