Good News, Movie Buffs: You Still Have Time to Catch MMFF 2017 Screenings
Which one will you watch again?
(SPOT.ph) The holidays may be over, but there’s still a reason to celebrate. After a two-week run that was originally slated to end on January 7, the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival has been extended after reaching its P1 billion target. That means you now have more time to tick off the movies on your to-watch list! Or you can also rewatch your new favorites.
While the individual box-office numbers of the eight movies that screened during the festival are yet to be released, it was announced that the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival has already broken past records. The total gross of the entire run of MMFF 2016 was reportedly surpassed on MMFF 2017's third day. MMFF 2017 also set a new record with the highest first- and second-day gross.
The festival's screenings will be extended at SM Cinemas, Ayala Malls Cinemas, Starmall Cinemas, and Cinema 2000 Cinemas, which are located in Eastwood, Shangri-La Plaza, Festival Mall, Commercenter, and Fora Tagaytay. The MMFF Season Passes will still be honored at the Cinema 2000 Cinemas.
