Don’t coop yourself up indoors, though! There are plenty of reasons to head to your nearest cinema and treat yourself to a good movie—bae or no bae. Here are all the exciting movies you can’t miss this February!



Fifty Shades Freed

The third and final installment of the best-selling novels by E.L. James has Christian (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) embracing married life. Although they think they’ve finally left their past behind, the newlyweds must face new threats that could jeopardize their happy ending.



Black Panther

The highly anticipated standalone film of T’Challa a.k.a. Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) is finally here! T’Challa returns to his elusive homeland, Wakanda, to stake his rightful claim to the throne, only to be faced by treachery and danger. Directed by Fruitvale Station and Creed’s Ryan Coogler, the film also stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett, Daniel Kaluuya, and Danai Gurira.



Darkest Hour

Based on a thrilling true story, this biopic stars Golden Globe winner Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill, who is just days away from becoming Prime Minister in a turbulent Great Britain on the cusp of war. The film follows the British statesman as he must negotiate a peace treaty with Nazi Germany while fighting for his ideals.

Directed and produced by Steven Spielberg, The Post follows Katherine Graham (Meryl Streep), the first female publisher of The Washington Post, as she exposes the government’s massive cover-up of secrets that span over three decades. The film also stars Tom Hanks, Alison Brie, and Sarah Paulson.
