Everything You Need to Know About Paramore's Rescheduled Concert
You'll have to hold on to those tickets a little longer!
(SPOT.ph) Hearts were crush, crush, crushed earlier this February when it was announced that punk band Paramore's Tour Four concert in Manila on February 18 was going to be cancelled. With a note posted on the band's Facebook page on February 16, lead singer Hayley Williams explained that she was "fighting a throat and upper-respiratory infection."
She explains that the Manila show was delayed so they can reduce their travel hours. "Traveling by plane can make it hard to heal because of the dry, recycled air, the extreme altitude, and the fact that planes are basically just flying petri dishes. Minimizing flights and having those few extra days off should give my antibiotics time to kick in and allow my voice time to recover from all this coughing."
Still, she shares that she's looking forward to coming back to the Philippines on August 23. "We were so ready to get back to Manila because every show we’ve played for our Filipino friends has been a wild time. We're coming back for you so please hang on 'til August." The concert will be held at 8 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Tickets that have already been bought will still be honored for the concert's new date, though MMI Live is now also accepting and accommodating ticket refunds through SM Ticket outlets.
