WATCH: Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes Are Friends With Benefits in Their New Movie

(SPOT.ph) We've all been there—can't sleep, can't eat, and looking for someone to talk to. In Sid and Saya (Not a Love Story), that's what happens to Sid (Dingdong Dantes) every night as he takes his meds for his insomnia. He takes it one step further and actually pays for someone to talk to. That's where Aya (Anne Curtis) comes in. At first, they have a strict, business-only relationship—no feelings involved. But we all know that's not how it works out. Soon, they find themselves falling for each other but still, as Sid says, "This is not a love story." 

Sid and Aya (Not a Love Story) is Dingdong and Anne's first movie together as a love-team pairing. But you might remember them appearing together in GMA 7's T.G.I.S. back in the '90s. They've released teasers for the film as early as April, but it wasn't exactly clear what was going on between the two. The movie, directed Irene Villamor (Camp Sawi, Meet Me in St. Gallen), was actually shot on-location in Japan earlier in March this year. If any of Irene's past works are any indication, fans are sure to shed a tear or two when the movie comes out on May 30.
