(SPOT.ph) It wasn't that long ago when Nadine Lustre's latest movie, Never Not Love You, hit the big screen. And it also hasn't been a month since director Irene Villamor's latest romance flick, Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story, premiered. But they're still as busy as ever as Lustre just confirmed that she'll be starring in a new movie entitled Ulan, that will be directed by Villamor.
Â
"I'm really, really excited about this one," Lustre says in an interview with ABS-CBN. Though the plot hasn't been revealed yet, she says it'll be a film about self-acceptance. "It's about finding yourself and learning to love yourself," she shares. "This is what I really stand for, you know? Self-love."

The actress' real-life relationship with actor James Reid is still going strong. (They actually just finished a world tour.) But for now, they'll be working with different partners in movies—which is something she's confident about. "It's just work. So parang, kung ano 'yong makakapagpabuti sa isang project—I mean, I trust Viva [Films] naman." She continues, "And of course, it's for the good of the film naman."

And with Villamor—who directed other heart-wrenching movies like Camp Sawi and Meet Me in St. Gallen—at the helm, it looks like fans have a lot to look forward to.
