WATCH: Is This the Real Life or Is This Bohemian Rhapsody's Latest Trailer?
Also, do you know how many Galileos are in the eponymous song?
(SPOT.ph) It's been a few months since the first teaser for Bohemian Rhapsody, the biopic about Queen's frontman Freddie Mercury, was released. We've seen Rami Malek stepping up to the stage, performing the rock band's famous songs while donning multiple costumes that Mercury has worn on tours and concerts around the world. But the latest trailer—which is almost three minutes long—takes a look at what goes on backstage. The film is set to premiere in the Philippines on November 7.
"The only things more extraordinary than their music is his story," the trailer says, as Mercury offers to write songs and sing for a band whose lead singer just quit. You'll also see the start of his relationship with partner Mary Austin (Lucy Boynton). There are even a few scenes—and great lines—depicting how the band produced some of their most-known songs, like the eponymous "Bohemian Rhapsody" ("How many more Galileos do you want?!") and "We Will Rock You" ("I wanna give the audience a song they can perform."). But the film also delves into the media frenzy around Mercury's personal life and how radios refused to play the band's songs on air.
The movie is produced by Queen's drummer Roger Taylor (played by Ben Hardy in the movie) and guitarist Brian May (who will be played by Gwilym Lee). Queen's manager Jim Beach (played by Tom Hollander) is also at the helm along with actor-director-producer Robert De Niro.
Bohemian Rhapsody premieres on November 7.
