The People Behind Hit Thai Movie Bad Genius Are Back With a New Rom-Com
Catch it in cinemas this year!
(SPOT.ph) Movie fans couldn't get enough of the thrilling Thai heist film Bad Genius when it hit local cinemas in 2017 for the QCinema Film Festival. The exciting plot that had students planning how to cheat on their exams proved to be a different kind of adrenaline rush. Now, the studio behind the hit movie, GDH 559, is back—this time, with a more romantic (and funny) kind of thrill with Brother of the Year, which premieres in Philippine theaters on October 10.
Chut (Sunny Suwanmethanont) enjoys living the easy life. He doesn't clean up after himself, he doesn't do chores at home, and basically does whatever he wants—because his little sister Jane (Urassaya Sperbund) does all the work for him as his roommate. Jane complains that the only time Chut has ever acted as her big brother is when someone liked her and he scared him off. That's why she's trying to keep her relationship with Moji (Nichkhun of K-Pop group 2PM) a secret. Put together a competitive sibling rivalry with a cute love story and you've got a relatable and charming movie coming your way.
Brother of the Year premieres on October 10.
