Mark Your Calendars: The Cinema One Originals Festival Is Happening in October
More indie movies are coming your way!
(SPOT.ph) Movie buffs have been having a great year so far—what with all the film festivals and movie premieres we've gotten. Now, they can add one more to the list: The Cinema One Originals Festival 2018, which is happening from October 12 to 21. That's 10 (!) whole days of great movies screening at select cinemas, namely, the Power Plant cinemas at Rockwell and Santolan Town Plaza, TriNoma, Glorietta 4, and Gateway.
The Cinema One Originals Festival, hosted by TV network Cinema One, features the works of independent filmmakers. It was held in November for the past nine years. Now on its 14th year, it'll be happening a month in advance—so you can consider it an early Christmas gift.
The slate for this year's festival is yet to be announced. But you can expect great films, especially given the notable works from past years. The most recent ones include Giancarlo Abrahan's Paki, Fatrick Tabada and Rae Red's Si Chedeng at Si Apple, Dan Villegas' Changing Partners, Samantha Lee's Baka Bukas, Petersen Villegas' 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten, and of course, Antoinette Jadaone's That Thing Called Tadhana.
Cinema One Originals Festival is happening from October 12 to 21.
