Paul Soriano's New Movie Starring Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo Is All About Seizing the Day
It was filmed in Vancouver!
(SPOT.ph) There seems to be no stopping 2018 from being a year full of blockbuster hits—from action-packed BuyBust to the more recent Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral. But not to be outdone, of course, are romance movies. And Paul Soriano's latest offering is sure to get moviegoers excited. His upcoming film, entitled First Love, stars two of the industry's biggest names—Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo.
In the teaser, Nick (Muhlach) talks to someone on the phone, saying, "May nakilala akong babae. She saved a life, she needs a heart," while shots of Ali (Alonzo) appear. He's then shown explaining to her what he does for a living, which is as an adviser for small businesses to help them determine whether or not they should invest. But the carefree Ali replies, "Ako, wala nang assess asses." The teaser shows the two exploring the city of Vancouver together, with Ali talking about carpe diem or seizing the day. When Nick asks her what their purpose of being together is, she answers, "It's fate. Pinagtagpo tayo ng tadhana."

The film is produced by Ten17P, Star Cinema, and Viva Films. The release date is yet to be announced. Other than First Love, Soriano is producing a film starring his wife Toni Gonzaga, sister-in-law Alex Gonzaga, and Sam Milby. Alonzo also has a horror film entitled Eerie coming out this year with Charo Santos-Concio and Jake Cuenca. Muhlach, on the other hand, recently wrapped up a movie with Alice Dixson.
