Attention, Students: You Can Now Watch Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral for Only P150
No excuses now!
(SPOT.ph) The Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral fever isn't going away any time soon, especially when the film is so masterfully done. Not to mention, lead star Paulo Avelino has also been taking to Twitter to answer (and flirt with) fans. And if you're looking for any more reason to catch the film, there's a special discount for students—which means tickets are only at P150 at all cinemas. All you have to do is present a valid ID. And yes, the promo applies to graduate students, too!
Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral is the highly anticipated sequel to 2015's Heneral Luna. It picks up right after the death of General Luna, with Gregorio del Pilar, the young general dealing with its consequences. It follows his life during the months leading up to the Battle of Tirad Pass—leading soldiers and romancing women along the way. The film also stars Epy Quizon as Apolinario Mabini, Mon Confiado as Aguinaldo, as well as Carlo Aquino, Arron Villaflor, and Nonie Buencamino,
Heneral Luna and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral, both directed by Jerrold Tarog, are part of a planned trilogy—with the third one slated to be about Manuel Quezon (played by Benjamin Alves in both films). There's no word yet on who will play Quezon in the upcoming film.
Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral is now in theaters.
