The Full Trailer of Exes Baggage Will Have You Feeling Fragile
You can just imagine what the whole movie will be like.
(SPOT.ph) The wait is almost over for the reunion movie of real-life exes Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino—dubbed CarGel by their loyal fans. In case you didn't know, Panganiban and Aquino dated for six years before calling it quits—which makes them a perfect fit for a movie about exes. They've released behind-the-scenes photos, official posters and stills, and even a quick teaser for Exes Baggage, which is set to premiere on September 26. The film's exact plot has been kept under wraps, but they've clued in anticipating fans a little bit more with the full trailer.
In the previously released short teaser, they've shown Pia (Panganiban) and Nix (Aquino) talking about past relationships over convenience-store snacks. Now, the trailer shows how they first met—in a bar, where Pia and her friend are guessing who Nix is looking at. (Not-so-spoiler-alert: It's Pia.)
Their conversation interlaces with scenes of them spending more time together and eventually falling in love. When Pia says that her worst ex is the one who was married, Nix jokingly answers, "Sabi ko na nga ba e, kaya mo lang ako sinagot, [ay] para makalimot ka." But then their honeymoon stage starts to turn sour, especially when Pia runs into (presumably) one of her exes. There are then scenes of them fighting and Pia even moving out of their shared apartment.
It's only a two-minute preview of the entire film, but fans are already in for a feels trip with director Dan Villegas at the helm. He's also previously directed other tearjerkers like Changing Partners, Walang Forever, and The Breakup Playlist.
Exes Baggage premieres on September 26.
