Coldplay's Film A Head Full of Dreams Is Screening in Cinemas This November
The documentary has been 20 years in the making.
(SPOT.ph) It's been more than a year since British rock band Coldplay performed in Manila. They finally held their first—and one-night only—concert in the Philippines at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds on April 4, 2017. You may have been one of the lucky ones who got to score tickets to the sold-out show or you might have been part of Team Bahay and watched the performance from everyone's Instagram Stories. Either way, you'll be happy to hear that you can watch the band's official documentary film, A Head Full of Dreams on November 14. Ticket prices for the screenings are yet to be announced, but you can be sure it won't be anywhere near P22,500 (a.k.a. the price of the VIP tickets for their Manila concert).
The film will be screening in SM Cinemas, namely SM Aura, SM City BF Parañaque, SM Bicutan, SM East Ortigas, SM Mall of Asia, SM Manila, SM Marikina, SM Masinag, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Sucat, and Waltermart Makati. It will also be showing in other SM Cinemas around the country.
A Head Full of Dreams follows the band's story, with lead vocalist Chris Martin, bassist Guy Berryman, guitarist John Buckland, drummer Will Champion, and creative director Phil Harvey, and how they went from playing in cramped pubs in London to sold-out stadiums around the world.
The documentary film has been in the making for over 20 years. That's because the director Mat Whitecross met the members of the band while they were in college and rehearsing in their dorm rooms. Whitecross is also the director of the acclaimed Oasis documentary film, Supersonic.
A Head Full of Dreams will be screening at SM Cinemas on November 14.
