This Is Not a Drill: Aquaman's Jason Momoa and Amber Heard Are Coming to Manila
Along with director James Wan!
(SPOT.ph) The year is already about to end, but movie buffs are still in for a couple of surprises. Those last-minute surprises include the cast of Aquaman, including Aquaman himself Jason Momoa and Amber Heard, as they'll be coming to Manila on December 11 with director James Wan. They will be attending the Asian Premiere of the film and will also be participating at a Fan Event.
They will be traveling through the seven seas and stopping by nine cities around the world for their global tour, going to Beijing for a film-footage screening and a fan event on November 18, to London for a livestreamed world premiere on November 26, and New York for a fan event on December 1. After Manila, they're heading back to Los Angeles for a livestreamed U.S. premiere on December 12 then to Miami on December 14 for press. They'll also be stopping by Gold Coast to attend the Australian premiere on December 18 then go to a fan event in Sydney on December 19. Their last stop will be in Hawaii for a special event screening on December 21.
That means that the Philippines is only one of two—the other being Beijing—Asian stops on their world tour. That's all the more reason to keep your eyes peeled for more information about the venue and ticket availability, which will be announced soon.
Aquaman tells the story of reluctant King of the Seven Seas, Arthur Curry (Momoa) as he tries to stand in between the underwater world of Atlantis and the people of the surface world.
Aquaman opens in Philippine cinemas on December 21.
