(SPOT.ph) It's a brand-new year, which means we've got another year of great films to look forward to. Included in the list is Mikhail Red's Eerie, which already premiered at the Singapore International FIlm Festival in December. It was previously announced that the highly anticipated horror flick starring Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo will be hitting theaters in January. But in a Facebook post made by Red, the film will now be released theatrically in March.
Eerie follows the story of a clairvoyant guidance counselor (Alonzo) who has to investigate the mysterious death of a girl in a Catholic school. The cast also includes Jake Cuenca and Maxene Magalona.
Aside from the premiere date of Eerie, Red also says that his film Neomanila, will also be opening in theaters in March. Neomanila was one of the entries of the QCinema International Film Festival in 2017. It stars Eula Valdez as the leader of a death squad that recruits a teenage orphan as one of its members.
Red also announced that he'll start filming Dead Kids, another thriller movie, in January.
