Here's Your First Look at Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's New Movie With Antoinette Jadaone

Looks like we've got another hugot movie coming.

(SPOT.ph) The last time Pinoy movie fans saw Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil on the big screen, it was in 2017's My Ex and Whys, where they delivered tear-jerking confrontation scenes. (Who could forget Soberano's "Pangit ba ako?!" line that eventually became a meme?) It looks like we're in for more feels and hugot lines because the pair is teaming up with Antoinette Jadaone—who's behind That Thing Called Tadhana, Love You to the Stars and Back, and wrote English Only, Please and Walang Forever, to name a few—for a new movie called Alone/Together.

Plot details are still scarce, but Soberano will be playing a character named Christine while Gil's character is named Raf. From the looks of the teaser image where they're seated by the Sunken Garden, Christine and Raf are students at UP Diliman.

Jadaone also posted the same teaser image with a poem as a caption:

Traydor ang mga alaala.
Magpapaalam sa’yo
hanggang makalimot ka.
Pero eksakto. Sa puntong
sinabi mo na sa sarili mong
wala ka nang isasaya pa,
lilitaw siyang muli.
Na mula sa malayo pa lang
ay kilalang-kilala mo na.
At paglapit nito sa’yong harapan,
babalik ka sa pamilyar na lugar.
At ikaw ay mamamatay na naman.
Tuloy, takot ka nang maging masaya.
'Pagkat traydor ang mga alaala.

Alone/Together is produced by Black Sheep Entertainment (the studio behind Exes Baggage) and Project 8 corner San Joaquin. There's no word yet on when the movie's set to premiere, but it'll most probably hit theaters just in time for Valentine's Day.
