(SPOT.ph) It's Valentine's season once again, but who's to say that you can only celebrate a romantic kind of love? The season of love can be about friends, too. The latest McDonald's ad shows two long-time friends that have made you laugh for years—Ogie Alcasid and Bitoy a.k.a. Michael V. Yup, two of the people who made you burst into laughter when you were hooked on every episode of Bubble Gang.
In the hilarious commercial, Alcasid picks up a delivery and brings it to Bitoy. He then asks Bitoy, "Anong classic Ogie Alcasid love song ang paborito ng Chicken McDo?" Bitoy asks, "Ano raw?" To which, Alcasid hilariously answers while singing, "Chicken-ya pa rin babalik, chi-gaw ng damdamin, chicken-ya," referencing his hit song, "Sa Kanya."Â
But Bitoy isn't amused, saying, "Grabe, dalawang dekada na tayong nagko-comedy, pero parang hanggang ngayon hindi ka pa rin masyado nakakatawa e, 'no?" Alcasid delivers the perfect reply, saying, "Ganu'n talaga mga pogi, hirap magpatawa. Kaya ikaw, sobra kang nakakatawa."
It's always nice to see two friends reunite, but even more so when it's two hilarious buddies just messing around with each other like old times. It almost makes you wish the original cast of Bubble Gang got back together.
