This LGBT Indie Film Is Opening in Cinemas Nationwide in March
Billie and Emma is coming back to cinemas!
(SPOT.ph) Valentine's Day may be over but that doesn't mean we have to stop celebrating love in all its forms any time soon. The good news is, you can do just that because LGBT film Billie and Emma is opening exclusively in Ayala Cinemas on March 20. The indie movie, directed by Samantha Lee (Baka Bukas) was part of the 2018 QCinema International Film Festival in October, so if you didn't get to watch it then, this is finally your chance to catch the love story on the big screen.
Set in the '90s, the film follows the story of Emma (Gabby Padilla), a star student. She falls in love with Billie (Zar Donato), the new girl from the city who now lives with her aunt, an aunt who also happens to be a religion teacher. While Billie just wants to finish her last year of high school without any drama, things change when she and Emma start dating—and when they find out that Emma is pregnant.
Billie and Emma opens in Ayala Cinemas on March 20.
