(SPOT.ph) Sam and Isa's complicated not-so-love story had audiences reeling when indie movie Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa opened in 2015. Director Nestor Abrogena has since kept fans hooked with a teaser and the news that the sequel, Tayo, Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon, is already in production. Now, fans can start counting down the days because according to the director's Instagram account, the follow-up hits theaters in May 2019.
Nicco Manalo and Emannuelle Vera will be reprising their roles as Sam and Isa, respectively. They will be joined by Anna Luna (who plays a character named Anna) and Alex Medina (who plays a character named Frank).
Tayo, Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon continues the complicated non-relationship of Sam and Isa, only this time, they're both in their own respective relationships. The film is produced by TBA Studios, the same studio behind I'm Drunk, I Love You, Heneral Luna, and Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.
