(SPOT.ph) You might recall tearing up (or okay, fine, crying) at Vicks' Learning to Love commercial where the neighborhood thug shapes up to take care of his newly adopted kid. Vicks has recently released a new commercial for their Touch of Care campaign entitled Just a Boy and it's just as heartwarming.
In the video, a young boy offers to share his food with another kid at a party. But the kid's mom shames him and makes a comment about him spreading his illness. It turns out that the young boy is HIV positive. He was abandoned by his biological mother and was taken in by her mother's neighbor, Agnes. Wanting nothing but the best for the boy, Agnes has to keep him isolated from the other kids, but it still hurts her to see him yearning for a normal life. And just like the Learning to Love commercial, their story is also based on real people, which makes it all the more touching.
