(SPOT.ph) In February, director Mikhail Red teased fans with a photo of a badass-looking Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia all geared up for a zombie apocalypse. The two are starring in Red's upcoming thriller, Block Z, along with Ian Veneracion, Ina Raymundo, Dimples Romana, Maris Racal, and McCoy de Leon. Now, we've got another look at the highly anticipated flick as released on international entertainment website, Screen Anarchy—and needless to say, it looks intense. You've got Raymundo presumably turning into one of the undead, blood-covered zombies, and a super-focused group of kids working together.
Block Z is set in a university faced with a zombie outbreak, forcing students to fight for their way out alive. Details are still scarce, but in a previous post, Red reveals that Barretto and Garcia's characters are named PJ and Lucas. According to the report, the Star Cinema-produced movie is set to wrap in May, so you can expect it to hit the big screen before the year ends.Â
