Here's Your First Look at It: Chapter Two

(SPOT.ph) The first trailer for It: Chapter Two has officially been released, and it's more horrifying than you probably anticipated. 

A now grown-up Beverly, played by Jessica Chastain, returns to her childhood home and is warmly welcomed by what appears to be a sweet old lady. We all know something's up the moment the old lady opens the door, but add that knowledge to the painfully slow pace and heavy atmosphere of the scene, and it makes the trailer all the more suspenseful. 

Set nearly three decades after the 2017 It, this film follows an adult Losers' Club as they celebrate a homecoming like no other. It has woken up, and the time has come for them to defeat their childhood demons, literally. 

The grown-up cast includes James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Jessica Chastain, and more with Bill Skarsgård reprising his role as Pennywise the Clown. The sequel is set for release in Philippine cinemas on September 5.
