The Backstreet Boys Just Released a New Version of "I Want It That Way"

Listen up, '90s kids!

(SPOT.ph) Fans are already pretty excited about their upcoming Manila concert, but just in case you needed even more reason to get hyped, the Backstreet Boys just released a re-imagined version of their 1999 hit "I Want it That Way," released in celebration of the Millennium album's 20th anniversary.

The band dedicated the version to their fans. "We would never be able to say enough ‘thank yous’ but wanted to share a little something to show how grateful we are," they wrote in a letter posted with the video.

First released in May 1999, the Millennium album has sold around 30 million copies worldwide with four tracks making the Top 40 list. "I Want it That Way" was nominated for three Grammy Awards in 2000 for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Perfomance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

As part of the celebration, they've also released Millennium 20 Editions: a series of videos that take a fresh look at the some of their music videos from the album. They feature facts, anecdotes, and is the perfect opportunity to revisit their signature boy-band dance moves.
