(SPOT.ph) Nothing compares to friends who always have your back no matter what happens. They're your ride or die, your partners-in-crime, and your trusted confidantes...and we're not one to turn down on watching friendships unfold onscreen. Netflix is set to premiere their new series Trinkets on June 14.
The new young-adult series stars Deadpool's Brianna Hildebrand as Elodie who is a grieving misfit, Kiana Madeira as Moe who is an outsider shrouded in mystery, and Quintessa Swindell as Tabitha who is an imperfect image of perfection.
From three different corners in high school, the girls end up in the same Shoplifter's Anonymous meeting. They find themselves in an unlikely friendship as they navigate family issues and high school drama while trying to belong and struggling to break free at the same time.
The series is based on the young-adult novel of the same name by Kirsten 'Kiwi' Smith, who is also onboard as executive producer of the series.
Trinkets premieres on Netflix on June 14.
