(SPOT.ph) Growing up, you might have had an idea what you wanted to be—an astronaut, an engineer, a doctor, or even a filmmaker. If you've always wanted to give filmmaking a shot, you shouldn't miss this opportunity: TBA Studios, the production house behind Heneral Luna, Birdshot, and I'm Drunk, I Love You, is launching The Writers' Room, a workshop for aspiring writers and directors. The selected 15 participants can learn from industry professionals for free.
Meant to serve as a springboard to turn ideas into full-blown productions, the training program focuses on the many different ways a story can be born. It aims to explore the writing process extensively.
The chosen participants will undergo training for 12 weeks with the guidance of the TBA Studios staff and industry experts. All participants will pitch their scripts to TBA Studios and have one-on-one meetings with the producers. Some may even get the chance to be part of TBA Studios' creative team!
Submissions will be accepted until August 19 and if you want to give it a shot, just be sure you meet the requirements.
