(SPOT.ph) Growing up, you probably tuned in to Goin' Bulilit one Sunday evening and had a bunch of laughs thanks to kids delivering jokes and punchlines, and maybe even thought, "That could totally be me!" while watching the skits. Years later, the realization sets in that as much as it was for kids, the disclaimer at the start of every show was true: it's for adults, too. Aside from the familiar segments, funny gags, and a continuously rotating roster of talents (we saw them grow up and graduate!), Goin' Bulilit served up some major shade and commentary on social issues. While those 14 years were filled with laughs, all good things must come to an end: Goin' Bulilit is now on its last two weeks, and its final episode will air on August 4.
The show's writer Josel Garlitos posted on Instagram thanking the cast, crew, staff, actors, and audience that stuck with the show since it started in 2005.
One of the show's directors, Badji Mortiz, also posted:
Goin' Bulilit alum Sharlene San Pedro uploaded a video of her audition for the program.
