(SPOT.ph) Admit it: There was at least one point in your life when you went crazy over a celebrity or a boyband. While the idea of meeting your fave is something you've imagined countless times in your head (along with the part where they fall in love with you), it isn't always a guarantee that reality will meet your expectations. Antoinette Jadaone's latest film, Fan Girl, follows the story of a very eager fan who gets to meet her idol in the form of Paulo Avelino, who plays himself in the film. The whole team has kept the project mostly under wraps, but they have been dropping hints, including some behind-the-scenes photos from the set.
Director of Photography Neil Daza has just finished filming, and he took to Facebook to express his thanks to the entire team.
Daza mentions all the talented and diligent women he got the chance to work with to make this film possible. He also recalls the conversations they had while on set—from the female gaze, to vacuum cleaners, to gel nail polish while carrying the camera—that helped him learn about a variety of things, and convinced him to work on more movies with these women.
Jadaone called for auditions since she wanted a new face for this film, and as of writing, Fan Girl's lead actress is still a mystery. Though it's easy to think that it's all about a girl living out her wildest dreams, there's a dark undertone to the script tidbits and teasers uploaded. There's no release date or trailer yet, but there's a lot to look forward to.
