(SPOT.ph) The characters of Netflix's Insatiable are all too familiar with the drama that comes with becoming a pageant queen, as seen on Season 1. Curious about what will happen next? We sat down with Debby Ryan, Dallas Roberts, and former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz to talk about what it was like working on the upcoming season, how the experience was like behind the scenes, and more.
Diaz is a new addition in Season 2 and both Ryan and Roberts are aware of her pageant roots. Ryan says Diaz was regal and formidable when they first met and that she was very happy to work with the former queen. Diaz on the hand, shares that Ryan is "like my daughter" and admits that Roberts is the first actor she's ever asked to have a photo with.
The Philippines is home to many delicacies that some foreigners would consider a bit crazy, or lie beyond their comfort zone. Sisig is a great meal to have any time of day, and Roberts even had it for breakfast, much to the surprise of Diaz. But if there is something both Ryan and Roberts want to try, it's balut. And while they didn't get to do so during their short stay, the two stars look forward to having a taste of it in the future, to which Diaz suggests for them to add durian to their list of things to try for their next trip.
