(SPOT.ph) While there's an abundance of critically acclaimed films and series you can watch online, both local and international, every once in a while you just want to let your brain relax with some shows that aren't too taxing or overly difficult to understand. Brain candy, as they say. If you're looking for something easy to watch and addictingly entertaining, reality television is a good place to start. And in case you don't know where to watch, you may want to check out streaming service Hayu!
Hayu's selection of shows includes reality favorites like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, The Real Housewives, Dance Moms, Million Dollar Listing, The Millionaire Matchmaker, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (yup, the OG!), Top Chef, and more—they're perfect to get you hooked and keep you entertained without the stressful elements of complex plotlines or diabolical characters.
While the phrase "reality TV" often brings to mind shows about over-the-top drama sequences and crazy real-life personalities, it can also be a great way to explore your interests. Hayu has shows about true crime, fashion, cooking, home design, music, and much more, so you can also explore all kinds of hobbies and lifestyle practices through their collection of series and reality competitions.
If you're ultra-invested in current reality shows and want to stay up to date, many of the series on the platform are released on the site on the same day as their U.S. airdate. You can watch on your phone, tablet, or laptop and you can download episodes on your devices for convenient viewing anytime, anywhere.
A Hayu subscription costs P149 per month, but you can avail of a one-month free trial to start, just to get a feel of the site first. Ready to get addicted to a new show?
