In case you missed the news, Korean girl group Blackpink is finally back in the area and is making its long-awaited comeback after making every Blink suffer for the past two years without any new music—solo projects not included.
Their last comeback in June 2020 was their first studio-length album entitled, what else, The Album, which includes the hit song "How You Like That". The group consists of Jisso, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, who all made their debut in 2016. Some of their hits include "Kill This Love," "As If It's Your Last," "Boombayah," and "Lovesick Girls" among others.

"THE WORLD IS HEALING," "FINALLY FINALLY," "AUGUST IS FOR BLACKPINK" as well as the group's name was included in the trends that dominated Twitter, almost immediately after YG Entertainment, their agency, confirmed that the four-member group is currently "in the final stages of recording their new album," as per Korean news outlet Soompi. They're going to shoot their music video this month, too, with new music set to release in August.
You might want to brace yourselves and your wallets as the group has plans of holding the "largest-scale world tour in K-pop girl group history until the end of the year".
