Chris Brown barred from leaving Manila, asks 'What the f*** is going on?!'
It's over his cancelled New Year's Eve show.
(SPOT.ph) It must suck to be Chris Brown right now. Fresh off a successful concert in Manila on July 21, the recording artist was supposed to fly to Hong Kong for a show the next day, but...he's apparently still here. Brown was barred from leaving the country following the issuance of a lookout bulletin from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
You might remember him cancelling his New Year's Eve show, saying he lost his passport at the very last minute. Well, this got him in trouble. Iglesia Ni Cristo has filed an estafa complaint against him for the cancelled show. INC's legal counsel, Glicerio Santos IV sent a letter to the DOJ "for the successful prosecution of the criminal complaint" lodged against Brown and promoter John Michael Pio Roda.
The singer took to Instagram early Thursday (July 23), saying, "Can somebody please tell me what the f*** is going on? Cause I don't know, I'm reading headlines after headlines. What the f***? That's really what the f*** I wanna know. What the f*** is going on?"" The post has since been deleted. In a second video (above), he was shown dancing in his hotel room.
As of writing, there has been no official confirmation on whether Brown is still in the country.
