...with a trending topic.

(SPOT.ph) In this day and age, the saying "don't believe everything you read" is more relevant than ever. All it takes is one text message or blog post to go viral. Remember that fake flesh-eating disease that spread like a virus last year? Or those social media hoaxes that "killed" a number of your favorite celebrities? The Internet has killed all sorts of celebrities from Morgan Freeman to Justin Bieber and even Ely Buendia.
Today, even ABS-CBN president and chief executive officer Charo Santos-Concio wasn't spared from a fake death. In her case, it was a trending Twitter topic on July 27, right below P-Noy's SONA hashtag and something on Pangako Sa 'Yo.
Naturally, a lot of people are upset:

Some people seem to forget that the more you tweet a topic, the longer it trends...the irony of which isn't lost on this guy:

So far, no statement from ABS-CBN or Charo Santos has been released.
