(SPOT.ph) For most girls, an 18th birthday usually means a grand debut party. Not for actress Liza Soberano.
The teen star announced that she's foregoing a lavish birthday celebration and instead, plans to host four charity events. "I'm not really big on gifts. I like giving back on my birthday," she explained. "I'm gonna request sana help from my endorsements to help me so that I have my giveaways to give sa charity events ko."
Although she didn't elaborate on the charity events, Liza admitted that she gets nervous and uncomfortable with crowds and wearing ball gowns. Her goal? To be like Emma Watson. "I believe I was born to make a difference talaga and to help people especially the young ones because those are the ones who need guidance," she said.
She previously tweeted her disappointment when a fan defaced a photo of fellow teen star, Kathryn Bernardo. "Why does everybody always just have to hate on one another?" She wrote. "No matter what, you never bring anybody down, no matter what they say. Be the better person."
As for her TV comeback, Liza said it may happen this year.
