Chito Miranda offered P2-M to tweet for a presidential candidate

It's officially election season, folks.

( Nothing says election season like nuisance candidates (as of writing, there are a total of 57 presidential aspirants), political "souvenirs," and celebrity endorsements. The latest celebrity name to join the elections talk? Parokya Ni Edgar frontman, Chito Miranda.

In a tweet on Wednesday (October 14), the musician said he was offered P2 million to tweet an endorsement for an unnamed presidential candidate. He also said he couldn't give any names because the agency wouldn't disclose details.

He then quipped about other candidates, including a man who calls himself "Archangel Lucifer" and another who says aliens asked him to run for president.

Meanwhile, Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano drew flak for endorsing Sen. Bongbong Marcos' bid for vice president. Neither of the two have commented on the issue.
