(SPOT.ph) It's safe to say that JM de Guzman has been having a rough couple of weeks. The actor made headlines for some rumored bad behavior on set, which reportedly led to him being dropped from the MMFF entry Walang Forever.
JM's tumultuous relationship with two-time girlfriend, Jessy Mendiola, was also the subject of controversy. Many cited Jessy's involvement in Enrique Gil's drunken plane incident as the possible reason for their split, especially after JM challenged Enrique to a fight. Jessy recently clarified that they broke up because they wanted to "prioritize other things."
Meanwhile, JM's fans expressed concern over a series of cryptic posts from the actor, including one post where he wrote: "Hey dad, are you going to send me to rehab again?" (The actor took a one-year break from showbiz a few years ago for drug use.)
On Saturday (November 14), JM took to his Instagram account to apologize for his recent behavior in a new post where he wrote, "Anxiety attacks, bipolar [disorder], and depression. My occasional friends." He also appealed for fans to stop blaming Jessy, ABS-CBN, and the All of Me cast. "I lost control with myself again. And I would like to apologize from the bottom of my heart. That was uncalled for. But I am ok now. Peace," he said.
All the aforementioned posts have since been deleted. Both Jessy and ABS-CBN have yet to release a statement on the issue.
