Baron Geisler: Viral video meant to exploit "already damaged reputation"
He's looking into possible charges against the person who uploaded the video.
(SPOT.ph) If you've kept up with social media over the past few days, then you probably heard that Baron Geisler was allegedly involved in yet another altercation.
This time, he was caught on video hurling expletives and assaulting a student. According to the video posted by a certain Khalil Versoza, the actor had agreed to act in a school production for an editorial design campaign. He acted out after the students failed to give him the script on time.
In a statement released to the press, Baron claimed the video was "taken out of context," and added, "I plan to consult my lawyers for the possible liabilities of the person who uploaded the video, whose apparent intention is to exploit my already damaged reputation."
He also made it clear that the video was not a staged social experiment, saying, "Pumitik lang po talaga ako. How I wish na social experiment po siya. I feel bad. I feel sad. I feel sick. Usap muna kami ng management."
This isn't the first time his controversial behavior was caught on film. In July 2015, an allegedly drunk Baron caused a scene outside a Pampanga bar after the bouncer refused to let him enter the premises. His camp called the incident a "discrimination" and a "result of the stigma caused by similar incidents" that involved him in the past.
