LOOK: Chynna Ortaleza Ties the Knot in a Non-Traditional Wedding Gown
Trust her to skip tradition!
(SPOT.ph) Ask any bride (or bride-to-be), and she'll tell you that the wedding gown is one of the most important aspects of any nuptials. Many brides opt for a traditional white frock, but it seems more and more brides are tying the knot in head-turning pieces in the most unlikely of colors. Maja Salvador, for instance, donned an all-black dress for an episode of Wildflower, while TV host Divine Lee wore an elegant gold number by Rajo Laurel.
Following in their footsteps is Chynna Ortaleza, who recently exchanged vows with Kean Cipriano two years after their civil wedding. The stunning bride veered away from the norm and donned a "dove gray" gown by designer Edwin Tan.
The dress features a strapless neckline and embellished bodice, but what really makes it stand out is the matching cape—that also doubles as a train!
The couple's November 7 ceremony featured a dramatic, vampy color palette, from Chynna's bridal bouquet of "black calla lillies, cosmos, and berries" to the guests' all-black ensembles.
