(SPOT.ph) While a change of pace is a good thing, there's nothing quite like returning to something that won't let you down. 2019 has seen deviations from the usual love teams which brought about fresh takes to relatable stories, but it's nice to know we don't have to bid farewell to the usual pairings. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla didn't do any movies or series together this year, but the two will work together once more for a teleserye in early 2020.
The couple mentioned their upcoming projects in a report by MJ Felipe for TV Patrol:
Aside from the upcoming TV series (which is still under wraps!) under the Dreamscape unit of ABS-CBN, Bernardo also mentions a solo movie for Padilla which is set to premiere before their return to the Kathniel team-up.
The last time the two were seen on screen was for their 2018 Star Cinema film The Hows of Us. They worked individually in 2019: Padilla focused on concerts and shows, Bernardo starred in Hello, Love, Goodbye opposite Alden Richards, which later became the best-performing Filipino film of all time. Bernardo says Padilla has been nothing but supportive of her solo acting career.
