Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff Share First Photos of Their Baby Girl Dahlia Amélie
Their Instagram captions will warm your heart.
(SPOT.ph) In case you didn't know, Anne Curtis gave birth to a girl on March 2 in Australia (yes, that makes her baby a Pisces, in case you're into astrology). While several reports confirmed the news, Curtis and husband Erwan Heussaff have not made any comment, until today: The couple just shared the first photos of their baby girl, Dahlia Amélie.
Curtis uploaded a photo of baby Dahlia clutching her much bigger thumb, and promised to "love, protect, guide, and hold [Dahlia's] little hand every step of the way."
Heussaff, meanwhile, shared a photo of Dahlia's feet, and went on to praise his wife for handling the pregnancy and birth like a champ. He also urged his followers to "hug your mothers."
The two haven't shared the reason behind their baby's name, but we did a little research on the names' origins. Dahlia presumably comes from the garden plant and flower dahlia. Amélie, on the other hand, is of French origin, and we're instantly reminded of the 2001 French comedy film of the same name which follows the adventures of one fun-loving and mischievous Amélie Poulain.
