Pres. Obama calls Kanye West "a jackass"

US President Barack Obama said Kanye West was "a jackass" for upstaging Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), reports TMZ.

West got on stage during Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video at the MTV VMAs on Sept. 13 and grabbed the mic from her, saying, "Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time."

In the audio file obtained by the celebrity news blog, Obama is asked by reporters about what he thinks of West's stunt and says, "I thought that was really inappropriate…he's a jackass." The President later makes light of his comment by saying, "Come on, guys, I got a lot of other stuff on my plate."
