Reward now P1 Million for arrest of road rage killing suspect Jason Ivler
The bounty for road-rage killing suspect, Jason Ivler, was doubled from P500,000 to P1 Million, reports GMA News. Ivler, nephew of Filipino folk singer Freddie Aguilar, was allegedly responsible for the fatal shooting of Renato Ebarle Jr., son of Presidential Chief of Staff, Renato Ebarle Sr. last November 18.
The offer which was previously raised from P200,000 to P500,000 last November 28 has now been doubled by the Office of the President, according to Angelito Magno, Chief of the National Bureau of Investigation's Special Action Unit, reports the Daily Tribune.
The offer was raised when the police failed to arrest Ivler on Wednesday, December 16, when he was reportedly spotted in Blue Ridge Subdivision in Quezon City where Marlene Aguilar, his mother, resides. Magno was quoted by GMA News saying that there is a high probability that the suspect is either being coddled by his relatives or friends.
